Penny is the owner and founder of Formality Bridal. She has spent most of her working life in corporate sales management, but LOVES owning her own store (well, most of the time anyway!)
She is the face of the business and loves to personally meet and work with brides whenever possible.
She and her husband own a farm, or as she puts it, a big place with lots of expensive “pets” She loves animals and is a big supporter of animal organizations. She is a mom of a grown daughter who lives nearby.
Fun Fact: Heather was one of the first brides to purchase her gown from Formality. She stayed in touch with us thru the years, and when we had an opening, we knew she would be a perfect fit! She has recently been through the gown shopping experience, and provides a fresh perspective to current brides. We like to say that she has serious “street cred”, if that’s a thing in bridal.
She is calm, patient, level-headed, and has a knack of connecting with brides.
Heather is a mom to an adorable toddler and a stepmom to a grown son. She and her husband are also in the process of building a new home near us in wine country.
Dani came to us with a creative background as an art teacher, which is her other role when she’s not helping our Formality brides. As a bride to be herself, she is uniquely aware of current bridal trends and LOVES helping other brides find their big day looks too! Her enthusiasm for brides is contagious…your whole tribe is going to love working with her!
Nikki is a mom of 4 amazing kids! Yes, FOUR. (We’re not sure how she gets it all done!) She is also co-owns a great wedding photography business on the side with her fiance. (Did we mention that she’s also a bride to be?) She’s super organized, and her attention to bridal details is unmatched. You’re going to love working with her!
If you want a stylist who is obsessed with bridal, this is your girl! She has watched every episode of Say Yes (and there’s 22 seasons)! She is passionate about mental and physical health, is a mom of 2 cats and just bought her first home! When she isn’t helping brides, she is busy making her own clay jewelry and selling them in her own small business. You’re going to love her as much as we do.
At Formality, we think it’s really important that brides have a boutique experience like the one you see on that special show.
When you book an appointment, you can bring 4 guests for a traditional bridal gown appointment or up to 8 guests for a VIB deluxe appointment. Once you make your gown selections, it’s off to beautiful dressing room to try on beautiful gowns.
Then its out to show your group what you look like in each of your beautiful selections.
Don’t worry if it doesn’t fit you perfectly just yet… that’s totally normal. We can usually perform fittings in house so that your complete bridal experience is with us. No need to go out searching for someone that you trust to make alterations to your precious gown!
