Penny is the owner and founder of Formality Bridal. She has spent most of her working life in corporate sales management, but LOVES owning her own store (well, most of the time anyway!)
She is the face of the business and loves to personally meet and work with brides whenever possible.
She and her husband own a farm, or as she puts it, a big place with lots of expensive “pets” She loves animals and is a big supporter of animal organizations. She is a mom of a grown daughter who lives nearby.
Fun Fact: Heather was one of the first brides to purchase her gown from Formality. She stayed in touch with us thru the years, and when we had an opening, we knew she would be a perfect fit! She has recently been through the gown shopping experience, and provides a fresh perspective to current brides. We like to say that she has serious “street cred”, if that’s a thing in bridal.
She is calm, patient, level-headed, and has a knack of connecting with brides.
Heather is a mom to an adorable toddler and a stepmom to a grown son. She and her husband are also in the process of building a new home near us in wine country.
Robin was our first employee at our Erie location. She was a previous visitor to our Geneva location where she came with her twin sister to select a gown (she’s from NE Ohio originally) You could consider her a professional bridesmaid of sorts , having been a bridesmaid in seven weddings recently! She definitely comes with experience! And when she’s not helping brides, she works with middle school kids and has a master’s degree in education. If she can handle middle schoolers, she can definitely handle brides!
Dani came to us with a creative background as an art teacher, which is her other role when she’s not helping our Formality brides. As a bride to be herself, she is uniquely aware of current bridal trends and LOVES helping other brides find their big day looks too! Her enthusiasm for brides is contagious…your whole tribe is going to love working with her!
